Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. Who we are

LinkStack ("we," "us," "our") provides a link-in-bio page for creators and small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect when you use LinkStack, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store your password itself).
  • Verification codes: when you sign up or reset your password, we email you a 6-digit code. It's stored in hashed form and automatically discarded after 10 minutes or first use.
  • Profile content: your username, display name, bio, profile photo, and the links you add to your page — all of which are shown publicly if your page is live.
  • Usage data: click counts on your links, so you can see how your page is performing.
  • Session data: a small, secure cookie that keeps you logged in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

2a. Payments

LinkStack does not currently collect any payment information — there is no paid plan in use today. If we introduce one in the future, this policy will be updated first to explain what's collected and how it's handled.

3. How we use this information

  • To create and operate your account and public page.
  • To verify your email address and confirm password resets.
  • To send you account-related emails, such as verification codes.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Who we share information with

We share limited data only with our hosting provider, which runs the application and stores the database. We don't share your information with advertisers or other third parties.

4a. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic — things like which pages are visited and roughly how many people visit. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We don't use this data to identify individual visitors personally, and it's separate from the click statistics shown to you about your own links in your dashboard.

4b. Advertising on the blog

Some pages on our blog may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data, and control your ad personalization settings, at Google's Ad Settings. Ads only appear on public blog pages — never inside your dashboard or on your personal link page.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and links.

6. Your choices

  • You can edit your name, bio, profile photo, and page address at any time from your settings.
  • You can edit or remove any link on your page at any time.
  • You can hide your page's links individually without deleting them.
  • You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us.

7. Children's privacy

LinkStack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
