How to add links

Every link needs a title and a URL. Here's exactly what to type in the URL field for each kind of link.

For the seven most common types below, you don't need to type the format yourself — click the matching Quick add button above the link form in your dashboard. It fills in the title and a working link automatically, with the part you need to change (your number, handle, or address) already highlighted — just start typing to replace it.

A website

Just paste the address — with or without https:// at the front, either works.

yourshop.com

"Call us"

Start with tel:, then the number with country code — no spaces, no dashes.

tel:+919876543210

"Email us"

Start with mailto:, then the email address.

mailto:orders@yourbusiness.com

"WhatsApp us"

Use https://wa.me/, then the country code and number together — no +, no spaces.

https://wa.me/919876543210

WhatsApp with a pre-filled message

Use the same format as above, then add ?text= and your message with spaces written as %20. The WhatsApp (with message) Quick add button sets this up for you, with a default message you can edit afterward.

Instagram

Use https://instagram.com/, then your username (no @ symbol).

https://instagram.com/yourusername

Facebook

Use https://facebook.com/, then your page name or username.

https://facebook.com/yourpage

YouTube

Use https://youtube.com/@, then your channel handle.

https://youtube.com/@yourchannel

Location

Use https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=, then your business name and city — this opens directly in Google Maps.

https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=PPR Farms, Warangal

Why the format matters

A link that isn't formatted correctly gets rejected when you try to save it — that's intentional, it catches typos before they end up as a broken button on your public page. If something won't save, double-check it matches one of the patterns above exactly.
